Change Inputs in the software
Focus Gamer
With some controllers it reads my inputs wrong so if I can make the site read my X button as a Circle or change it around so that way I don't have to worry about my controller having issues that would be nice. Also it is only the site that reads my controller wrong, on games it is just fine.

I need this so badly, i mainly own knock off controllers so most of the inputs are missing or wrong

Where do i go to manage key binds
Gaylord Cockburn
I dont see it. Why dont I see it. Its like gpv1 and gpv2 are 2 halves of what could be a functional tool. I can not see a scenario where you overlook keybinds on gpv2. But i still dont see it, why not!

planned
Updating as planned since this is something that needs to be ported to GPV 2, though I think the remapping UX will need to be thought out a bit better compared to how it works in GPV 1

buttons mixed up Qanba titan
Quoterman12
Many buttons on the PS5 setting of the Qanba Titan are messed up when I use the Fight Stick display. I press the X button on my qanba titan, but it registers as a O input.

Mayflash Gamecube controller inputs are wront
Lavande_et_Miel
Using the Mayflash adapter, and a genuine Gamecube controller, the inputs are all wrong. Pressing A displays B, etc. Not one single button is correct. Why don't we have the option to remap the buttons ? To be able to fix this problem ? o: Thanks !

Allow for visual rebinding of buttons for each gamepad
RavageTalon
I have a raphnet n64 adapter that shows the wrong inputs when buttons pressed. The ability to dynamically assign the buttons for the visual pad would be helpful.

either i am having a stroke or on GPV2 there is no way of editing inputs. Idk which is more troubling. Why dont you just add support for the logitech g920 steering wheel.
Gaylord Cockburn
I am mapping my wheel to the xbox controller in GPV1. The gas pedal is bound to the analog stick. I can not unbind this action. Only make rebinds in hopes of canceling it out. now my analog stick is doing side flips. that or add legitimate support for my wheel bro.
Gaylord Cockburn
perhaps, order of operation is the issue. In which case a way to reorganize everything would be nice. I got really close. But the analog sticks do not work unless i am using the triggers. I suspect it would not be an issue if I could unbind any and all inputs aswell.

Gaylord Cockburn:
So two questions in one but I'll try to answer both:
- Remapping hasn't been ported to GPV 2 yet, so I'll merge this feedback with the other remapping post
- Wheel support is kinda tricky since GPV at the moment has a not-very-well documented way of showing a rotating wheel, but generally a wheel would also have its inputs rotate with it too. I saw you made another post for that as well so that'll be a good place to track if there's enough interest in including a proper wheel display
Finally, if you need further help with remapping, I'd suggest making a post in the #help-forum in the Discord since you'll get much faster help there: https://gpv.gg/discord
